moments like this make up for any of those hair-pulling toddler days - for sure. blu adores this little boy and puts up with his many attempts for hugs without protest.  bello!

i was talking with my college roommate / interior designer friend the other day- and telling her about the history of this house we are living in now. i knew she'd really appreciate it. so i thought i'd share some pics. there are architectual elements like glass in the doors that date back to the 1920's. very unusual. the landlord told us that the marble in the bathroom is quite special and all came from the same cave. each room has original marble on the floor - and each is it's own pattern. very beautiful. lots of windows - lots of light. we were told that mousilini at one point owned this house (who knows about that one).
