thought i'd share one of my latest paintings, this one came out of sincere gratitude for some encouraging words from an inspiring friend. just the lift that gives flight to one's creative wings.
i have been busy painting up a storm and have two more in my little studio room that i hope to finish before this baby arrives.
but today was spent soaking up the summer sunshine on the beach...swimming in the cool sea and loving the salt water as it clings to my skin and hair. truly, i cannot get enough of these days...sandy, seawater, sunshine filled with a splashing little boy who so desperately tries to swim while we watch the horizon line of the water that's peppered with sailboats. for me, it's pure bliss!
