simple
changes but powerful ones. i have eliminated tv in the morning so that
i can get to some reading. i am cooking for us a couple nights a week
(and my nights are vegetarian ones) - can't say it's eased up my
cooking anxieties, but i am working through them and learning lots in
the process. **this was a wonderful recipe we tried this week, delicious!
i am getting up outrageously early (for me) so i can get my runs or yoga done in the morning freeing up the afternoons are for my little men (and some italian practice!). my weekends are for my painting and creating - as they require longer periods of time. and i am working very hard to give myself a simple 10 minutes a night to meditate and just sit in silence. balance...it is the paradise that eludes me but i am hoping some of these small changes may help to feel a bit more of it. the challenge remains how i stick with them in the midst of a busy school year...that remains to be seen, but i am hopeful.
i came across this lovely video today and it reminded me how important those 'little things' are in our lives. they never are quite so little in reality. how do you create balance in your life? i'd love to know...
