guiding my new year...

so i have been thinking a lot about the word i choose to guide this new year for me. and i kept coming back to one - very simple but very powerful one - gratitude. i wish to cultivate a year where my intentions, my responses, my lessons, and my experiences are guided by this beautiful word. i don't want to merely want to be 'thankful' i want to be opened by a heartfelt feeling of appreciation and thankfulness. the sort of freeing opening that i have experienced on my yoga mat at the end of a focused session, or the type of opening that i have glimpsed a couple of times when walking along the seaside. although i will keep some aspects sacred and close to my heart, i hope to share a bit of this journey here throughout the year. with that, i leave you with this beautiful tune and i wish you a wonderful new year! buon anno
